The new Tasting Room and Tavern will soon be open for cheese tastings all day and dinner four nights a week.

The Hitching Post is one of the most unique buildings in the Southern Adirondacks with 14,000 square feet of space for our retail space, cheese plant, aging rooms and Tasting Room Tavern. The gigantic log structure was built in the late 1930s, originally as a dining hall for one of the many Lake Luzerne Dude Ranches. It has served as a bar, hotel and general
store, a dining hall, a dance hall and music venue, and restaurant space. It boasts one of the largest support beams and one of the largest fireplaces in the Adirondacks.

We hope to see you soon!
